I worked at Bunnings Warehouse full-time

    Pros

Big company with endless opportunities Can transfer/be seconded to another department Takes care of its team members

    Cons

Some people can get away with doing just the bare minimum Company culture seems to be reactive to situation rather than proactive Outdated ERP system

I worked at Bunnings Warehouse full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

-Full & Part timers get access to the employee Share Scheme, as well as Gifted shares each end of year bonus (November) -Decent EOFY Bonus. -Thoughtful Christmas gifts (Bunnings Monopoly a few years ago) -Good benefits and discount partners (GM, Toyota last I looked, small discount on Apple and Dell/Lenovo products) -The Bank of Hours system (for 'overtime') can be a bit daunting or intimidating at first but it creates a lot of flexibility in your roster.. -Who doesn't like Sausage Sangas for lunch every weekend?!? -Flexible work environment -Plenty of room to change department if you want a change of environment. -Really well paying for the retail industry (Beats flipping burger for minimum) -Nice relaxing job 99% of the time -The best team camaraderie of any workplace. Literally a giant family who will support you through your breakups, celebrate your triumphs etc.

    Cons

Don't expect to move up the management ladder very quickly. But in saying that, everyone still gets yearly pay rises which can be performance based this is as well as unionised pay rises.

I worked at Bunnings Warehouse part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Flexible work hours (contracted to hours per week) to allow for school, study or sporting commitments. Choice of department and ability to transfer between departments to either learn more or work in a more desired area.

    Cons

No incentives or pay increase for being a forklift driver or operating machinery which increases risk (however, they pay for all training and licenses). Customers can be a hit and miss like all retail jobs.
