I have been working at British American Tobacco full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - Lots of opportunities to grow within the company, both upwards & internationally - Great modern office environment, with a "cafe" with a barista & a gym with free workout classes - You'll constantly be challenged, as the company puts a huge focus on learning and thus will give you tasks or assign you to roles in order to allow you to grow - Compensation is unbeatable (pay, bonus, other benefits) - Overall, the people are great and you'll have the opportunity to connect with them not only in your day-to-day but also through super fun workplace events & get-togethers

    Cons

You are expected to work hard and will have to put in long hours on a regular basis, so if you're looking for an easy, simple 9-5 job this isn't for you!

    Advice to Management

Continue to stay competitive with compensation & opportunities!

    Pros

Job was't bad once one get it.

    Cons

Recruitment process like pulling teeth. A battery of psychometric tests, IQ tests, weird general spatial, maths, logic tests, that would make Professor Jordan Peterson's brain break. Must have got through them by sheer fluke. All for a job in the end for MARKETING CIGGARETTS AND CIGARS AND VAPING HELLOOOOO? Company gummed up by political correctness, completely up their own back end in self importance, company is awash with big heads, doofuses, morons and diversity hires that wouldn't know their jobs if it came up and slapped them. Management are morons. Couldn't stand it, quit soon after. All those tests....for THAT?! 1* on career oppertunities because it will take you 10 applications on the same job to get it ONCE.

    Advice to Management

Wonder why you keep advertising the SAME JOBS OVER AND OVER and you get hardly ANY APPLICANTS? Stop throwing up barriers then!! Buck stops with the CEO, who must be a moron if he knows what bullfeathers job applicants have to go through to actually get a job. Quit using all the stupid tests before you can even APPLY.....THIS ISNT NASA PEOPLE, stop thinking you are bigger and more important than you are.
