    Pros

    - easy - good place to get your first job - they don't worry about prior experience

I worked at Brandy Melville for less than a year

    Pros

One main thing that I loved about Brandy Melville was the togetherness and sense of family there. It was hard work but I still loved doing it, it kept me busy and active.

    Cons

There weren't very many cons about the job except for how stressful it could get.

I worked at Brandy Melville part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Fun work environment created through bonding with other sales associates, easy work, flexible scheduling

    Cons

Company as a whole has zero morals! Not an issue at first because the job environment is fun but as you continue, you find that the company owners are hugely discriminatory toward people of colour and even go as far as to say to only look for white/western girls to work. Do not wear anything that is one of a kind to your shifts because management is required to take photos of all employees at each shift to send to the owners and they rip off any designs they think will sell well and mass produce it. They also hire underage girls with no experience or understanding of customer service to work simply due to their looks in lieu of girls who are experienced and would bring quality service to the store. Horrible reviews on google due to incompetent/rude employees who were hired entirely based on looks There is no interview process! Hiring is entirely based upon your looks and your style. Salary is based on your looks as well and varies greatly from girl to girl. Higher position girls do not necessarily get paid more than lower position girls. It depends how much the owners like you.
