    Cons

Poor communication between management and employees

    Advice to Management

Communicate communicate communicate! Let the employees know what is going on, personal or team.... I had an issue with a payment, I wasn't getting my checks then after one month asking they told me it was a problem with a visa .... they could told me that as soon as they found out and I would have not been on horrible stress about money

I worked at Boston Pizza full-time

    Pros

Head Office provides fantastic tools and resources that well ahead of the curve. They are consistently working on improving the brand in every area, from operations to marketing to financial controls.
Opportunity for hourly rate employees to advance into a management role is common and often an easy way to start a career in the industry.

    Cons

Sometimes there are too many initiatives being executed simultaneously. There should be more emphasis on SSSG rather than new store openings.
Store level management salaries tend to be low, comparatively. Opportunity to advance from store level to head office is rare and limited ( you are employed by franchisees)

I worked at Boston Pizza full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Was always in a great atmosphere with motivating and helpful coworkers. The managers were helpful and they were always flexible with your schedule.

    Cons

Sometimes we didn't have set sections and were running around the whole restaurant. Also during the day in the bar we were left alone and it could get pretty hectic

    Advice to Management

Ask your servers if they need any help.

    Pros

great customers that live withing gagetown that are friendly and caring, good magement team, small town feel. lots of tips to be made on sunny days

    Cons

seasonal job that ends after the boating season is over, owner doesnt seem to be there to support her staff, only busy on nice days there for very weather dependent on when you will make enough money to get by

    Advice to Management

have inventory set up properly, organization is always all over the place, better menu set up, more drinks available, air conditioning and fans need to be placed strategically around the restaurant for the really hot days
