Cons
• Employees are under constant video surveillance, except when in the bathroom. Workers are not treated like they are trusted • Several rounds of layoffs and severe limitations on spending for basic stationery/bathroom supplies, etc. make it questionable how long the company will continue its Canadian operations • Seemingly little possibility for pay raises when there are continual layoffs and company is closely watching every dime spent (workforce has shrunk hugely in the past year or so) • Canadian operations are essentially run from overseas with little concern for the safety or welfare of Canadian workforce • Difficulty booking days off/vacation now that the workforce is so small • Workers have been required several time to sign away their basic rights (rights to OT and adequate benefits)
