I have been working at BioDiagnostics full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Relatively flexible hours with a relaxed atmosphere (most of the time). A good place to gain time and experience working in or around your chosen field. You'll go further if you end up being liked by your team. I'd recommend this place, yes, but more for recent college grads/current students or folks looking for flexible part-time work.

    Cons

Different sections or working areas of the company are better managed than others. It's kind of the luck of the draw which one you end up in, though. God forbid you end up involved in the internal politics perpetuated by some long-time managerial employees. There aren't a lot of opportunities to grow your career beyond your entry position. The pay is not competitive, but the benefits are okay. So many problems would be SO EASY to fix if it weren't for some members of the old guard holding back changes for the better.

    Pros

    Cons

Uncompetitive pay compared to labs in the Twin Cities No career development with few opportunities for promotion Many full time employees are 'lifers' and very complacent, reducing growth and innovation in the company culture
