    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Bell Canada full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Good benefits and discounts including employee plans - Good RRSP matching program - location is accessible by bus which stops right outside the building and plenty of free parking

    Cons

    - Pay is lower than industry - Annual base salary increases are laughable.. seriously. - There is no incentive for leadership to provide mentorship or career development to employees. If you get a great manager that would be great but most people don't have anyone like that - I genuinely feel a lack of team work and collaboration across the finance teams. Seems like there is a lot of blame game and finger pointing that happens - There is no clear criteria or standard for getting promoted. Seems like hard work and dedication isn't what's required to be promoted

    Doesn't Recommend

I have been working at Bell Canada full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - Good benefits. - Name recognition.

    Cons

    - Mediocre pay for the excessive workload. - No trust. You'll need to explain every decision or email you've ever sent to a manager who doesn't do anything. - Like above - managers micromanage to compensate for the fact that they don't do anything. - The company doesn't care about the mental health of it's own employees despite Bell Let's Talk being a thing. - High turnover rate for a reason.
