I worked at BCAA full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Decent work life balance and benefit

    Cons

Some managers are from different industries so they may not understand the pain-point of the front line operation. Some are lack of management skill, such as unconscious bias, lack of proactive skill, poor communication skill, incomplete training plan etc.

I have been working at BCAA full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Work/life balance - Career development opportunities - Benefits including up to 100% medical and dental/ pension/ free membership/ health spending account of $250 per year - Quarterly bonuses - Invests in leaders. I am currently in the Coquitlam office where the Managers are the best I have ever had in my working life. They are engaging and truly care for all of the team members - BCAA is one big family and help each other yet when needed - we have recently had a lot of help coming from other offices which is amazing!

    Cons

    - Some are union offices so we have to pay union fees - Can be very busy so be prepared!

I have been working at BCAA full-time for more than a year

    Pros

OK salary, good benefits, work/life balance

    Cons

    - OK salaries - Culture may vary depending on which department you're in. Some departments have great microculture and team collaboration, while some are all about politics and bureaucracy. - Again, depending on which departments you're in, career opportunities may be very limited. You're basically waiting for years for someone to retire so there's finally a vacancy.
