Low pay for what you do. Little bit over minimum wage. Unfair pay during covid. Head office agents works from home while service location agents work way more in the office while getting paid exactly the same.

Great people to work with, good benefits, a lot of recognition, opportunities to gain new skills in different kinds of insurance, and competitive pay with commission. From experience, amazing place to work while you're a university student or new graduate who's starting out.

Opportunities to move up in corporate ladder are very limited and can take a LONG time. Good place to gain experience and use as leverage when applying for other jobs as BCAA is very well-known.

- OK salaries - Culture may vary depending on which department you're in. Some departments have great microculture and team collaboration, while some are all about politics and bureaucracy. - Again, depending on which departments you're in, career opportunities may be very limited. You're basically waiting for years for someone to retire so there's finally a vacancy.

- It's a pretty big company, so expect a bunch of redtapes - They don't use new and current tech, given that their systems are fairly old, and most of the architecture is dependent on it
