    Advice to Management

Don't be afraid to fire lazy staff. Lazy staff are demotivating for those trying to contribute meaningful work.

I worked at BBC Worldwide full-time

    Pros

In the heart of Miami, beautiful office, and fantastic culture.

    Cons

Interns do the same work as other employees but are unpaid. No lunches or other benefits are offered

    Advice to Management

If you’re not going to pay your interns, be generous with taking them out to lunch once in a while! Especially when they’ve been responsible for your day’s workload!

I have been working at BBC Worldwide full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great working for such a well known brand

    Cons

Too many politics, dinosaurs still working there that moved from BBC. Lot's of wasted money on 3rd party vendors and agencies. No clear management direction and not support when things go bad. Lot's of battles between managers. Not really open to new processes and ideas. Conflict of interest with BBC. People specially from BBC are too secure in their jobs and won't work as hard.

    Advice to Management

Do better, care of your people, invest in them. Change your methods, out with the old and in with the new. You don't work for a government agency, you are a commercial company. Be more business driven. Clean your dodgy deals with certain agencies and 3rd party vendors where competitors are more qualified and cheaper.
