    Stroppy customers who can talk nasty to you.
    Trying to remember where products are (there are so many) when a customer wants a specific product.

    Listen to the staff on the shop floor. We often see things you miss.

    50% salary for 9 months maternity leave, if you have 2 years service. Less than 2 years service will be statutory only.

    Staff discount. You get to learn how terrible cheap management is

    Cons

    Days and hours agreed upon when first started has gone out the window. everybody has to work 5 days a week. Seems to be they are sneakily making people work every weekend unless your UM. or was at my store

    I dont know who feels more shafted . your customers or your staff

    Lots of opportunities to learn new skills, welcoming team and kind people. Benefits are good - lots to choose from.

    Lots of change, but comes with the territory of working in retail.
