RecommendsPositive OutlookNo opinion of CEOI have been working at Aviva Canada full-time for more than a year
Pros
-Work from home options-Corporate gym membership-Ability to purchase up to 5 additional vacation days-ability to contribute to RRSP's directly from pay-ability to purchase company shares-Most managers encourage a healthy work/life balance-Free parking at Markham office-Subsidized meals in cafeteria-open concept/modern head office-diversity and inclusion initiatives in place
Cons
Entry level employees are paid less than industry averages-very uk centric company-promotions are given to people in USA/UK/Europe before canadian employees-lack of transparency when decisions are made that directly affect you-they aim to "kill complexity" but the company has a lot of complexities in place-bonuses are based on what managers think you deserve

"Claims Advisor"
StarStarStarStarStarI have been working at Aviva Canada
Pros
If u are desperate to have a job, Aviva is right for you.
Cons
1. seniority means nothing! 2. Shifts. They implement things just a blink on an eye! They do not care about there employees and don't care about their customers either! Rbc Values changes from customer first to I don't care, you are just a number. Leaders doesn't have technical knowledge to adjust a claim. When u ask a question regarding complex Claims, they have to ask to another employee because they do not know the answer. Rbc insurance was good. Aviva is the worst company. Exactly what other review says. Stay away! You will regret it! Work+life balance is not their priority. You have to record how long u pee in the bathroom and how long u talk to your coworker.
