You will be broken after working here...

      Pros

There are none. The only pro is the time before or after you are in a role at this company. I would rather be a homeless person with no shoes, money, and a heroin addiction because I would feel more fulfilled, satisfied, and appreciated than working in this toxic environment again.

      Cons

Management has no trust in its employees and there is micro management everywhere. Not sure if this is true but there are rumors that the CEO signs off on everything because he can't trust the executives he has appointed. Employees are thought of as highly expendable. They will be worked to the bone, and then be replaced. Don't fall into this vicious cycle, they will get you by offering more money, but it's not worth it. Look through the glassdoor reviews and check how many mention high turnover.. If there are any reviews with more than 2 stars I would take them with a grain of salt as the sales employees have been asked by management to write good reviews... There is no HR department and the ones in the HR roles that are supposed to be supporting the employees lack experience and skills to be in the roles. The list goes on... Pros

Very challenging environment, lots of projects on the go all the time, steep learning curve, some really nice people to work with overall.

      Cons

Very high turnover, fear culture, a few bad apples that can have a big impact.

      Operations/Product management

      Pros

      - growing company - amazing products which practically sell themselves - beautiful Yaletown office - young, skillful employees who join with a heart of making a difference

      Cons

      - 1 word: Chaotic! Management is absolutely awful. There is no trust between managers and employees. Highest turnover rate I have ever seen in any company, and I have been working in IT for over 15 years! - Management style is by fear and intimidation. If you want a promotion or opportunity you deserve, put all your time and effort into building a relationship with your manager, rather than working hard and being good at the job. Absolutely unfair and stressful environment, not because of the work but the politics handling. - No retention plan in anyway to keep the talents within the company. - Finger pointing management style: if something is not working, instead of discussing and finding a solution, work as a team to resolve it, they find someone to take the blame so things don't need to get 'better' or to be 'changed' - VERY high turnover rate. People get fired without any notice or warning. Managers don't communicate to you, lay out their expectations and give you a chance for improvement. You have no guidance, no direction, come to work one day and are notified you are fired, without a legitimate reason - No HR in the company, higher management can abuse their employees anyway they want. The only HR involvement you will see is when you are notified by them, 'sorry, we have to let you go'. Also the only 'HR' you see are the CEO's very close family members

Company growing too fast, processes can't keep up, terrible work/ life

      Pros

Good and competent people throughout departments, people generally truly care about doing a great job (not just showing up for a 9 to 5), very young employees (with less experience) compared to more well established companies, lots of opportunity to volunteer for work if you want to learn

      Cons

The company is growing incredibly fast and processes can't keep up with the growth which results in stressful environment and poor work/ life balance. In multiple departments, sometimes the company is growing so fast and processes changing so fast your own manager will not understand what you are spending your time on because you are fielding constant new issues directly. Management does not care about high turnover, they will just rehire people who quit. There is a constant hiring shortage across departments.

      Don't consider it

      Pros

The team I worked with. Pay and health benefits were fine.

      Cons

Everything else. Power-hungry, autocratic executive leadership. They hire smart people, treat them poorly and then they leave. No surprise there. Extremely high turnover and horrible company culture based on fear. Record quarters consecutively, but tanking stocks.
