    I have been working at Astek Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    No real good reason. Good reasons would be if you wanted to gossip all day and smoke during your coffee pauses.

    Cons

    If you do not negotiate good salary from the beginning, you are stuck with that until the end of the days with that company. You never get a raise or you have to threaten to leave to get one. No career progression. They promise you things by oral commitments but then come up with excuses to make them invalid. Make sure you have everything you discussed on paper, otherwise you will get scr*wed. When you express your... discontent, they do not listen.

    Develop career progression program for employees. Change management - many employees demonstrated on TV 2013 because of discontent about a lot of things.

    I have been working at Astek Group

    Pros

    Working for Astek Sud-Est has one big advantage: You will be located close to the Cote d'Azur. Great place to live.

    Cons

    It is probably partly in the nature of a consultancy firm and also the technological set-up of the area, but I found it disturbing that once you are hired, you are parked at a client and virtually never get back in contact with your actual employer.

    Advice to Management

    Try to maintain at least a minimum of contact with your employees. More management staff needed to handle a large amount of consultants.
