Hard work but rewarding
May 14, 2019 - Anonymous Employee in Winnipeg, MBRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Freedom to work your own hours, great mentor ship who help you with whatever you need. Most importantly (for me)the ability to make a LOT of money.
Cons
Have to be willing to work hard, if your looking to just check in and check out doing the bare minimum this is not the position for you.

Pros
Potential to make a lot of money, schedule that’s fits around life and family
Cons
Hours are long and working for them takes up your entire day and evening. 10:30-9 Bosses push you to be productive, if you don’t preform well you have to work with your boss.

Pros
You can make a lot of money fast, and it doesn’t require any degree to work or move up in the company.
Cons
Not a con for me, but for some people. You get out of this job what you put into it, you need to work hard and put in the time to be great.

You will either Hustle or Leave
Oct 29, 2020 - Supervising Agent in Indianapolis, INRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Positive work environment. Friendly Staff. And encouraging to reach your highest potential. If you work hard and do exactly what you're told to do, you will make a lot of money.
Cons
Leads are not new. If you don't like push back from members, you should look elsewhere. You will be working more than 40 hours a week. There is usually drama with managers.

Pros
Pros are that you do have the potential to make a lot of money and you do get hands on training
Cons
Cons are that you work 12 hours days and are still basically on call all the time, you have to use your own phone and your own laptop and you don't have an office, and then you're spending your own money to drive around a 50 mile radius in any direction to show up at clients doors who don't really want you there anyway. They say that there is no cold calling and that all of their leads are union workers and at first this feels true even as your dialing through 70 numbers before you can leave, but after angry person after angry person you get tired of it and realize that these leads didn't know what they were signing up for and they didn't know you'd be calling to try to show up to their house to sell them life insurance. Another con is that they only train you on one product. There are so many better life insurance products that you don't even get to sell. They give you your commission and then start immediately charging you for not having signatures that you didn't know you needed until underwriting looked over the policy and then you have to chase the policy owner at their home which could be an hour away just to hope they will actually be there to sign the document.
