    Doesn't Recommend

I worked at American Express Global Business Travel full-time

    Pros

Benefits start on the first day of training

    Cons

There will always be cons, no matter where you work. My team leaders were uninvolved and disorganised and for the most part, rude in general. That is not the experience some of my co-workers had with different Team Leaders .

    Pros

low pay, 18 for Canadians and 30 hours for Americans doing exactly same work promise alot, like benefits, you have to pay for them, time off but no vacation time available to book off , bought vacation again, cannot book as not time in the schedule free to get use the vacation time. Training is brutal, need determination to get thru it and then no pay raise

I worked at American Express Global Business Travel full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Benefits start right away, work from home is awesome. Initial Travel Academy (8 weeks) training was great, but could've been shorter.

    Cons

Accounts have no idea how to train when you come out of the eight week training. So, if you are okay with minimal training and being thrown on the phones, you will do great! At the end of the day, it is about numbers/stats/calls holding etc. If you thrive in an environment like this, then this job is for you.
