No Opinion of CEOI worked at American Dental Partners full-time
Pros
Great team to work with. Flexible hours. Good benefits.
Cons
Upper management appears to have lost focus. Not clear what the company's long team goal is for patient care among the affiliates we are to support.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI have been working at American Dental Partners full-time
Pros
There are several people who do care about their jobs and have excellent work ethics. The salary could be better and the benefits are okay. My manager cares about my well being.
Cons
New rules like core hours don't support what was suppose to be a family friendly workplace. Flexibility has been taken away. There are few incentives to working here. Upper management has lost touch and poor management is not addressed. High turnover. No raises. Managers come in late and leave early. Some managers don't manage at all. Core Values are on paper only. Certain senior "leaders" do not acknowledge the presence of staff. The good people are looking for outside alternatives.

"Do not work for this company"
- Culture & Values★★★★★

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI worked at American Dental Partners
Pros
There are some great doctors that I worked with along with a great team.
Cons
There is a lack of processes in place to help management or staff. Upper Management is not available for help or to be able to assist when there are issues that cannot be handled alone. Director of Ops is never to be found and will find ways to place blame on others. There is no partnership between the management company and doctors. People that have been there and not taking care of their responsibilities stay longer than they should be but the hardworking employees are pushed out the door. If you contact upper management or HR to file complaints about your direct manager, the situation or facts are turned and used against you. There is no organization and Corporate has no idea of what is really going on in the practices or with directors, practice managers.

"Not a good place to work at all take it from me"

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at American Dental Partners full-time for more than a year
Pros
SOME of the doctors are great to work with..others not so much. Paycheck is on time, however I have had hours deducted from me with no warning, and when confronted they act like they had no idea.
Cons
There are no pay raises not ever. Management is disrespectful towards workers they will literally work you into the ground with no praise as long as you do exactly what they want they won't be so hard on you. Once you speak up or disagree with any management they target you, treat you poorly, not to mention they constantly bad mouth you to others. Its like a high school up in there, management will be in front room painting nails, doing makeup, gossiping, and on phones while others are working their butts off. Lots of turnover, even doctors are aware of everything and have even said the company is horrible and that they don't blame everyone for leaving. This place could care less about the kids and that's so unfortunate, its all about profit and the money coming in. Even at meetings they make it a point to bring up the "core values" which is a load of BS, these meetings are ridiculous its like a blame game they look for people to embarrass in front of everyone and make it look like its the employees faults for anything going wrong in the office. They say until we see a higher profit we can not give any raises. I had been making the same amt for 2 years, with new member coming in I came to find out were making more then 2 dollars then me with no education no certifications and they have me training these people...seriously. Upper management is always in the background I've only met these people maybe 2-3x they don't care to get to know any of the employees. Highly unprofessional place to work run away while you still can.

"Core Values? Only on paper!"

Pros
A paycheck and that is about it.
Cons
I used to be proud to work for this company, however in the last month they have proven their "core values" are on paper only. I originally thought it was just local management making bad decisions but after reaching out to upper management and getting no response it is apparent it is corporate wide. I admired our CEO until recently and enjoyed hearing him speak yearly. He seemed very sincere and caring. Now I see it is all about the "numbers". So much for family first. I was considered "top talent" until I had to say I was unable to meet what was being asked of me hours wise. Different employees are held to different standards. Definite favoritism.

Pros
You will meet the best people, you get paid, unbelievable benefits (leave early with pay, pot lucks, jeans days, etc), Controllers are fabulous
Cons
Bullied by upper management. This company wants to only here the positive. They ask your opinion then say "you are not a team player" when you disagree with them. 0 raise for 3 years. I supported one of the largest affiliates, was on every committee, and was ALWAYS helping and teaching other team members. Yet that wasn't enough! I spent everyday of my last year of employment crying and miserable. They won't be around much longer if they keep running things the way they have been, and I will celebrate the day they close!!!

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at American Dental Partners full-time for more than a year
Pros
You'll receive a paycheck every two weeks. Room to advance since people quit frequently.
Cons
It's just a terrible place to work. Too much confusion. Unorganized, constant turnover, no bonuses, no raises, unachievable goals, and micro-management. Extended hours. Always more, more, more. Upper management behaves like teenagers. Nothing gets accomplished.

"Single most disappointing work experience to date"

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at American Dental Partners full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
Local interaction with outstanding, dedicated providers. Paycheck always deposited on time. Decent benefit options if you are willing to overlook low pay and lack of recognition.
Cons
Lies, empty promises, broken spirits, deceitful billing practices, impossible work load, quick to criticize and slow to praise. Core values touted as gospel but they are farce. This company cares for no one, not the patient and certainly not the employees. Disrespect towards dentists is encouraged by middle management and upper management. Profit is the only important element and all else is pushed aside or trampled. When they are lucky enough to have employees that care for the patient above all, as they are taught is the true purpose of the organization, those employees are brow beaten, however subtly, until broken or until they are brave enough to separate from the company. If you need a job then fine but go in with open eyes. Seeing the knife coming is easier than getting it in the back.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI worked at American Dental Partners full-time for less than a year
Pros
As another poster mentioned, a paycheck was deposited into my checking account on time.
Cons
Meanest people I've ever had the unfortunate experience to meet. One employee listened to misogynistic satellite radio programs that were able to be heard throughout the office. No training whatsoever. I was barely spoken to - not even a hello - by co-workers. Would occasionally be given a task to do with no instruction on how to complete it or where to find information needed to complete it. I got the job through a headhunting organization that swore it was an awesome place to work, and that they had no turnover, so I had to jump on the chance to get in. I was lied to. The place had constant turnover, including upper management people who were never replaced. I was promised a raise by the headhunting company after 90 days. I was told that I "misunderstood." Managers gave out cute little "surveys" to promote themselves and find out what their staff thought of them. Same managers would complain loudly about employees so that the entire office could hear. Very low morale. Upon giving my two weeks notice, I was not spoken to by anyone in the office.
