Pros
I worked with really great people. Some of the best doctors I have had the privilege to work for. We provided fantastic care for our patients.
Cons
Management is too concerned with their bottom line. Employees are pushed to their limits without any concern for their health or well being. Our location lost 9 employees in a little over 3 years.

"No pay, no advancement, to much stress, unappreciated"

Pros
Some Coworkers & Doctors are nice and we try to help each other to survive another day at the office when possible.
Cons
Front desk personnel don't get along & always have a problem with each other. Scheduling is ridiculous. Always a mistake. Equipment is out of date in some offices and should be replaced since they are in rough shape and rusting. No raise or bonuses are given therefore the shortage of employees since we feel unappreciated. They can never find a temp when needed. Makes us employees seem like just that...Just another employee who can be replaced for cheap. Management can be better. Don't tell your employees "figure it out" or "there's nothing I can do" or "what do you want me to do" when they are coming to you for help hence the reason why you are management.

"Hygienist"
Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at American Dental Partners full-time for more than 8 years
Pros
The doctors I worked with were fantastic and probably the only reason I stayed as long as I did!
Cons
Negative work environment! Laziest manager ever, never came to work on time nor did her job yet expected everyone else to go above and beyond. Front desk was constant turn over and was never trained on anything therefore they had no clue about anything. Pay was bad. Too many hygienist and not enough patients which equaled a lot of sitting without getting paid. Just overall poorly ran office.

"Do not work for this company"

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI worked at American Dental Partners
Pros
There are some great doctors that I worked with along with a great team.
Cons
There is a lack of processes in place to help management or staff. Upper Management is not available for help or to be able to assist when there are issues that cannot be handled alone. Director of Ops is never to be found and will find ways to place blame on others. There is no partnership between the management company and doctors. People that have been there and not taking care of their responsibilities stay longer than they should be but the hardworking employees are pushed out the door. If you contact upper management or HR to file complaints about your direct manager, the situation or facts are turned and used against you. There is no organization and Corporate has no idea of what is really going on in the practices or with directors, practice managers.

"High turnover, management treats clinical staff poorly.Obsessed with statistics"

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at American Dental Partners full-time for more than 8 years
Pros
The local affiliate does focus on quality dental work. Accreditation of the offices ensures strict adherence to protocols relating to sterilization and patient safety. Doctors and clinical staff stay current on new techniques such as implants and endodontics.
Cons
Management has a strict, controlling tendency with no collaborative efforts being made to work with employees. Management has their favorite/pet employees that come in late, take extended lunches, or don't show up without any repercussions while others are nitpicked for the smallest infractions. This dysfunction puts non-owner doctors at the whim of managers that enjoy ordering doctors and hygienists around. High turnover of doctors and hygienists is treated as normal with no consideration of how this impacts our patients. There has been a pay freeze in effect for six years. Upward mobility is nonexistent unless you are related to or personal friends of management, then you could become a manager very quickly. There is a total obsession with statistics that paralyzes any discussion or attempt to improve office conditions for our patients.

"Not a good place to work at all take it from me"

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at American Dental Partners full-time for more than a year
Pros
SOME of the doctors are great to work with..others not so much. Paycheck is on time, however I have had hours deducted from me with no warning, and when confronted they act like they had no idea.
Cons
There are no pay raises not ever. Management is disrespectful towards workers they will literally work you into the ground with no praise as long as you do exactly what they want they won't be so hard on you. Once you speak up or disagree with any management they target you, treat you poorly, not to mention they constantly bad mouth you to others. Its like a high school up in there, management will be in front room painting nails, doing makeup, gossiping, and on phones while others are working their butts off. Lots of turnover, even doctors are aware of everything and have even said the company is horrible and that they don't blame everyone for leaving. This place could care less about the kids and that's so unfortunate, its all about profit and the money coming in. Even at meetings they make it a point to bring up the "core values" which is a load of BS, these meetings are ridiculous its like a blame game they look for people to embarrass in front of everyone and make it look like its the employees faults for anything going wrong in the office. They say until we see a higher profit we can not give any raises. I had been making the same amt for 2 years, with new member coming in I came to find out were making more then 2 dollars then me with no education no certifications and they have me training these people...seriously. Upper management is always in the background I've only met these people maybe 2-3x they don't care to get to know any of the employees. Highly unprofessional place to work run away while you still can.
