    As with any engineering contracting company, work can sporadic and projects dont last forever, however AMEC do try and keep the ball rolling as it were, for as long as possible

    wonderful working environment ; exposure two a great variety of projects. The safety of the employees always come first. Training is always available upon request.

    Cons

    When staring out in the field you can work somewhat irregular hours and can be sent out of town for up to 2 weeks on very short notice.

    Great people/colleagues to work with, ok benefits and good work environment/work area

    Cons

    Very hard to progress, easy to get stuck in same role for very long time with no upward mobility. Too many senior management "riding it out" until retirement, general lack of passion.
