Management Out of Touch
Feb 8, 2016 - Anonymous Employee in Pearland, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great people to work with. (non-management). The location was good. The overall environment in the office was laid back.
Cons
No training structure at all. Management was behind the curve on the project and was playing catch-up constantly. Upper Management was very arrogant and would not listen to ideas that were not his own. "This is the way we have always done things" trumped everything, even the correct way to do something. Management wanted "yes" men to absorb their many mistakes instead of listening to anything that contradicted their thoughts.

Lack of Direction, cost saving to the extreme.

At least within the UK there has been plenty of work to keep busy. In fact almost too much work. Great ethos on work-life balance.
Cons
Outdated computer systems, IT is poorly managed with a direction to outsource as much as possible. No strategy to give staff usable computer hardware. No training for staff, talent not retained and poor staff continue on. Salary and benefits are some of the worst at a local level.

Good Facilities, WiFi, Many talented professionals,
Cons
Ages to set up a desktop, arrange profiles etc, constant movement around offices in order to get in groups for specific projects, management doesn't share their views, plans, decisions, constant rumours about the future. Peoples are just numbers, feel always insecure. No training provided.

Pros
Location is good. Some really good employees!
Cons
Lazy and useless employees get away with murder and get paid better than the good people, middle management is so poor everyone wants to leave, managers coasting to retirement, no progression, stuck in a dead end job, no training, no payrise, no positivity, no thank you's, no motivation....just same thing day after day but each day somehow gets more frustrating and pathetic.

Pros
It used to be good place to work but after the Oil bubble went bust, its taken a steep turn down hill.
Cons
No pay rises for past 2+ yrs, no training or development path. No they are looking to cut payment and allowances for working away to unworkable levels. Time to leave as when more staff leave and AMECFW cant deliver to the client on time, they will loose repeat orders.

Cons
Very little professionalism. The company is badly organized and the Company leaders lack alot of management qualities. No training is provided, so it's better to start with some experience. No opportunities for promotion.
