I worked at Amdocs full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Most of the people working are strong technical people who want the best for the customers.

    Cons

The management employs favouritism and takes all direction from HO overseas

    Advice to Management

While you try to portray honesty and openness the continuous buzzwords and corporate speak with no real information makes you seem disingenuous

    Pros

Opportunity to work with Tier 1 accounts. Multicultural environment and international experience. Company culture allows you to work from home and focus on results not on office hours.

    Cons

Due to the different time zones and matrix organizationplus cultures you need to work after regular business hours or on weekends.
Too big organization and therefore bureaucratic.

    Pros

Big company with many opportunities for relocation and professional fields.
Software development is in the DNA of this company so the internal structure is built around it with proper procedures, infrastructure and support (i mean it is not like working for the bank or telecom company where majority of employees are customer service representatives)

    Cons

    Quite a rigid structure,
    not the top-industry-level of salaries.
many teams work under big pressure of timelines and deliverables,
very problematic system of job descriptions.

    Advice to Management

Enable better work-life balance for employees by posing a more realistic timelines.
Introduce at least some minimal relation between the intensity of work and success of projects to the bonuses of the development teams (a lot of projects are declared "very successful" after very hard work but then some lame excuse is provided to developers on why there is no bonuses on the given year)
