RecommendsNeutral OutlookApproves of CEOI have been working at Altera full-time for more than a year
Pros
You get to be exposed to the cutting edge technology in the 2nd leading company in the FPGA industry. Nice people, nice environment and fair workload. Recently acquired by Intel can be pro.
Cons
Too many meetings can be a bit annoying. Recent acquisition by Intel can also be con. Work atmosphere is too relaxing that recent products are not as satisfying as before.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookI have been working at Altera
Pros
Get paid well, reasonable working hour, good working environment, the food inside is actually not bad, the people are generally easy to get along with
Cons
Not much career advancement opportunity, the product is pretty nitch in the market, absolutely not a good choice for a NCG, but can be a good place when your focus is on the family
