I worked at Allstate for less than a year

    Pros

Being at Allstate was an amazing internship experience for an undergraduate student. My team was receptive to letting me try new things and providing mentorship consistently.

    Cons

Training modules could have been improved on, I felt like not everything was super related to my position.

I have been working at Allstate full-time

    Pros

Overall, there are so many truly nice employees at Allstate. Everyone in the home office is friendly and it honestly feels like a small family.

    Cons

Diversity is a big focus at Allstate, however it is often a lot of talk and even less action. There are plenty of diversity focused events and trainings, but at the end of the day, diverse talent is getting overlooked and bypassed by non-minority employees every day. And as far as I can tell, there is no real plan to make any improvements.

I worked at Allstate full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Only the facilities are good

    Cons

    1. Politics 2. Everything ia handled by local managers, they are dragging the money to themselves and normal employees are struggling to get 5-10% increase. 3. They are taking their loyals (lickers) back again after leaving the organization at 60 to 70% hike at managerial level. 4. Old technologies. 5. Still giving important projects to other organization. 6. Long and rubbish processes. - Above reviews are given for both Bangalore and Pune location. Mainly for Agency solution DCIO.

    Pros

Good worklife balance, community service/impact, strong business model

    Cons

Hard for diverse candidates to get promoted in to Sr manager roles and above. Sometimes the company moves to slow and its ready to hear honest feedback on ways to improve even though they seem genuine about wanting to be better.
