I worked at Airbnb for more than a year

    Pros

Open culture, Free Food, Open for your suggestions, Everybody is approachable, No doubt very different(in a positive way) from a lot of organisations, you will have that work life balance, their leave policy is great, flexible working hours, great ways to deal with a candidate

    Cons

Talks about being an equal opportunity employer(Please don't trust this statement, it's not), talks highly about values but is not able to meet them, there isn't much for people on contract, long waiting time during interviews. Company specially conducts culture round (don't know what for as a lot of people(only in leadership) were culture misfit, one of the great example was Saloni from Talent partner).

I worked at Airbnb full-time for more than a year

    Pros

(Pre COVID-19) Free food, 3% 401k matching, decent stock options (if the company ever goes public), decent PTO options, flexible managers, dogs in the office, cool office space, diverse, travel benefits, mental health benefits

    Cons

Very disorganized, most employees have never had a corporate job and very much act like they're straight out of college, does not value introverts, weak WFH policy, dogs in the office, lots of money spent on office space, loud place to work (not great if you like a more peaceful or serious work environment), defensive toward anyone questioning policy or procedure, poor training

I have been working at Airbnb for less than a year

    Pros

They waste tons of money so pay is good and you get free food.

    Cons

Airbnb needs a change in leadership on all levels. They continue to keep poor performers and many of the "leaders" are failures. I our team of contractors experienced bullying, labor law violations, and projects that regularly when nowhere. Contractors do a bulk of the work, yet are treated as second class citizens. Also, they are a facade of a company. The CEO makes wild promises and has made good on none of them. The office is expensively decorated but nothing works and there are not enough bathrooms, conference rooms or places to store personal items. I do not recommend working for Airbnb in ANY capacity as they do not care about their employees at all.

I worked at Airbnb full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great people, you'll be likely to make friends here. Culture, free food, relaxed atmosphere and quirky offices.

    Cons

No career development, no learning, strong vegan/liberal/alternative views

I worked at Airbnb for more than a year

    Pros

Free food (Breakfast, lunch and dinner) Work remote as needed Beautiful office with amazing work spaces Fairly diverse (Though could be better...) Fun off-sites, office activities (first thursday experiences), fun office environment (Contractors were allowed on off-sites on our team, though it may vary within Airbnb)

    Cons

Leadership was awful and didn't care about our team. Contractors are treated as less than by full-timers Awful fraternity bro culture on parts of the larger team that made a lot of people uncomfortable. No room for growth. I saw someone work extremely hard and be strung along to get converted to a full timer and then get screwed over. "Belonging" a huge theme but the few people that did represent the core values of Airbnb were very underappreciated. Low pay
