Pros
Great benefits, 5 weeks vacation/year, profit sharing, open and inclusive
Cons
Some roles are unclear, some departments in need of reorg, leadership change.
- Former Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
- Good Exercise - No day is the same - Can find cool stuff you can buy for cheap from the company - When your making good tips and are making profit share, you can make good money with your base wage - Paid Dinners from time to time - incentives
Cons
- Toxic Management - Never know when you’ll be done; range from 3 -14 hour days - With “hustle” can cause damage to properties or vehicles or injuries to oneself - Pay can be terrible if there is no good tip days or profit share - Work in all weather conditions all year round

Pros
New job sites everyday Somewhat independent work Got to meet interesting people Got to keep some cool stuff like furniture/books/gadgets at times Co-workers were great people though it would always be changing. Its a decent job if you need quick work and wanna get full time hours in 4 days.
Cons
Management and owner were very rude and inconsiderate towards employees Owner would come up with new rules every week and forget about it The place was a revolving door for employees There was a profit share based off of how much drivers would recycle wood, paper, furniture, metal, wires etc... but that would always be changing depending on the owners mood which went against the company policy if I recall correctly Long days like 12 hours at times and no overtime though we did sign on to that

Pros
Fun culture, depending on your tastes - fast-paced, goofy coworkers. Incentive to work hard and smart via profit sharing.
Cons
Macho "guy" culture and physically demanding.

Pros
Excellent work environment/co-workers. Good amount of autonomy throughout your day. New experiences every day and getting to explore your own city. You can make yourself more money by being firm in the pricing with clients and generating more revenue for the company leading to more money in profit sharing for yourself.
Cons
Uncertain hours, if you're someone who needs a defined schedule this job is not for you. It could seem like your day will be done at 2pm because you've serviced all your clients- then you get 2 more jobs put on your schedule and end up working until 6 or later. I came into it expecting full time hours but the new GM hired too many people for the summer and everybody is only working part-time.

Pros
-4 day work weeks - If you know what you're doing/what to look for you can find some great stuff. Better than you might think. Management doesn't care what you keep, at least not in Toronto. -Fast paced, the days fly by. -You'll get in great shape. -You get tips occasionally -Great people working in the trucks. Can't stress that enough. -Profit sharing. A crappy day will usually make you 15 an hour, but the average decent driver makes closer to 18/20 on average.
Cons
The fast paced attitude can be a lot for some people. A lot of the negative reviews here are from people who have bad experience with the operations guys, who are incentivized heavily to get you to hit your numbers. -The average work day is 10-11 hours, and sometimes goes as high as 14. It's physically exhausting. -You really never know what you're going to get. Hoarding houses happen, and they suck. -Occasionally you might feel pressure from management to do really crappy jobs. You can refuse if you think it's unsafe, but be prepared to learn to take a hard line with management and customers. -work tends to slow down come winter time.

Pros
Outside, active, good community of folks to work with. Manager was great. Independently manage your schedule. You get to tool around in a truck all day. Solid manual labor.
Cons
Money is not so great. $10 an hour plus a little profit share. Some jobs are too messy to be worth that.
Thanks for your comments! We're glad you hear you had an awesome summer with us =)

Pros
Different experience every day. Time flies. Tons of overtime in the warm months. You get payed an hourly wage even if there are no jobs to do. You get profit share on days that your truck brings in a lot of money. First dibs on anything found on the job site. Very flexible hours in the busy months, as a lot of seasonal workers are hired. Get a fair bit of exercise.
Cons
Start at minimum wage for doing a very labour intensive job. Professional movers and other junk removal services get payed at least a few dollars more per hour. Does not supply workers with any sort of work gloves, back braces, or safety boots that are required to perform safely. Does not provide workers with basic tools needed to complete certain jobs, but rather relies on tools collected from customers on the job that may or may not be old, unsafe, and unreliable. Does not act accountable for his own company, ignores calls from dissatisfied customers and gets truck team members to deal with them instead of taking the responsibility for his own mistakes in poor job scheduling.

Pros
For a job that doesn't require any previous experience or credentials, it pays good. You make an okay base wage but can make much more after getting tips and profit share. I like that the job rewards you for being productive.
Cons
The hours can be absurdly long. Shifts are supposed to be around 10 hours long, but they often creep up to 12-15 hours in my experience. If you have any kind of a social life outside of work, be aware of how long these shifts are.
- Former Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
You find a bunch of cool stuff and the customers are awesome. Base pay is $17.5 profit share is usually between 100-300 a paycheck tips range My paychecks would sometimes get over 2 grand but that involve a lot of hours
Cons
The profit sharing is awful, management loves to micro manage and doesn't really value the employees. If anything hits the fan the company doesn't care about the employees. The would routinely cut the tips from a normal 5,10,15% to 3,5,7%
