theScore – Why Work With Us?

Justin Boone - NFL Supervisor

"If I had to pick one thing specifically, it’s probably the ‘War Room.’ On NFL Sunday the whole team is in there and we have games on all six TVs and it’s such a great atmosphere. It’s the perfect combination of working at a high level and at the same time having fun!" Learn More.

Steve Surya - Developer

"Being a huge sports fan it was always a place you’d like to work, so when the opportunity came up I jumped at it. In terms of the development community theScore was always a pretty respected shop and always looked like a cool place to work!" Learn more.

Andrew McKay - Scrum Master

"It’s just a great environment and there’s so many great people, and really smart people too. If you hate your job the days are going to seem very long. In contrast, my days seem super short." Learn more.

Samantha Grant - Customer Success Manager

"(I love) the people I get to work with and the environment. It’s fun! I really enjoy coming to work everyday. Not to mention the drinks and the snacks are pretty awesome – and the coffee is great!" Learn more.

John Levy Chairman & Chief Executive Officer   John is a media industry entrepreneur, growing his family’s small cable business into one of the 10 largest distributors in the country before founding and building theScore Television Network to become a leader in authentic and interactive sports entertainment, providing sports news, highlights and live games to more than 6.6 million homes in Canada. In October 2012, John and his team structured and executed the sale of Score Media’s television assets to Rogers Media and the spin-out of Score Media’s digital assets into a new entity – theScore, Inc. This allowed John and his team to focus 100% on growing theScore’s hugely popular mobile platforms, including its flagship app ‘theScore,’ one of the most popular sports apps in North America.     Benjie Levy President & Chief Operating Officer    Benjie oversees the development and  execution of theScore’s business strategy and  has been instrumental in shaping its digital  media offerings, including the creation and  launch of theScore’s mobile apps. Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at theScore (Toronto, ON) in August 2020.

    Interview

Interview process was excellent, recruitment team communicated well and prepared me for each step of the interview process. There was a design challenge, a 2 hour review of challenge and 2 portfolio pieces, and then the final interview was an App Critique and a conversation with a member of the product team.
