iQmetrix developed out of a gap in the industry realized by Christopher Krywulak, who began as an independent retailer in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Frustrated with current Retail Management and POS software, Christopher knew there had to be a better way. Using his experience as a retailer and an entrepreneur, he oversaw the development of a new Retail Management System (RMS), and thus iQmetrix was born.

Since our start in 1999, iQmetrix has grown to become one of the leading providers of retail management solutions for the North American retail industry. Office politics. I dont perceive this as negative though, it's a reason to prove your worth. Just put in the good work continuously with a good attitude and your work will justify you.
Advice to Management

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at iQmetrix (Regina, SK).
5 minute phone interview and then 2 in person interviews. The phone interview was very short about 5 minutes tops. The in person interview was about half and hour, very casual interview. One of the interviewers spent the whole time on his cell phone. The first this i was asked was if i knew anyone that worked there, when i said not that i know of they said oh we usually only interview people who know someone here. The interview questions didn't have a whole lot to do with the role itself, they would be better off if they had actual HR people doing the interviews.
