I worked at Yell full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Decent salary good earning potential however the money is not worth the long hours and pressure better jobs with good work life balance....

    Cons

High pressure all the time, long hours never able to switch off. Lots of customer complaints which are left to you to pick up even if not you who caused the complaint and still expected to bring in massive targets.

    Advice to Management

Be realistic support staff rather than using pressure tactics.

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Yell (Birmingham, England (UK)).

    Interview

Was an extremely relaxed and pleasant interview. It was more like a friendly chat with no annoying corporate stereotypical interview questions. Most probably because both interviews were done by managers rather than HR people.

    Interview Questions

    • As unhelpful as it is - I can't recall any uncomfortable questions - it was a friendly chat, rather than anything else.   Answer Question
