"World-class environment to be in. You will be amazed how nice the people are at XtremeEDA. "
Michael Truong, Tampa, Florida, US
Senior Engineer at XtremeEDA since 2015
Depending on their location and their proximity to a client facility, most of our engineers work in an XtremeEDA office or from home. Those within a reasonable commute of a client facility tend to work on-site during that client engagement.
In addition to the concentrations of engineers in/near the metro areas below, we also have engineers working from: Allentown, Calgary, Dallas, Knoxville, Raleigh, Tampa and Vermont.
I have been working at XtremeEDA full-time (More than 5 years)
Opportunity to work for various ASIC/FPGA companies including the largest of the industry; contribute to different verification environments using the latest methodologies; interface directly with the client and own your success; can always count on XEDA resources for help/suggestions/recommendations; focus on verification and not worry about looking for a future engagenet; ability to work from home
Some might find it intimidating to have to interview for each client, but it gets easier after a while. Working as a consultant doesn't mean projects cannot be demanding.
Advice to Management
Keep up the good work!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at XtremeEDA (Ottawa, ON) in June-2012.
After submitting my resume I was offered an opportunity for an in-person interview. The interview consisted of describing technical details on my resume, in detail. The interviewer was experienced in interviewing and, I think, could tell if any exaggeration was involved. Always be honest about what you can and can't do, and where you need to learn more. That tells the interviewer more about your integrity than anything.
