    Agile Project Manager Interview

    Average Interview

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wave (Toronto, ON) in April-2017.

Phone Interview with HR asking general questions about yourself, what you are looking for in a job and a company and compensation expectations. Three, one hour interviews back to back with different people in the organization (your potential manager, your direct reports, other people in the company). This is structured so that you go to the office, walk through with HR to see the office environment and the culture of the business. Then you meet with the person you would be reporting to who will most likely have the most detailed questions regarding the position, your skillset and knowledge to determine if you are a good fit for the position. Second interview is with your direct reports or people you would be working with regularly; these are questions to get to know about you to determine if you are a good fit to the department. Third interview was general questions about your personality to determine if you are a good fit to the company.

    Interview Questions

    • Questions regarding your past history with project experience, experience with JIRA and the agile process within JIRA (specific terminology), how you handle tough situations/situations that are not going as planned, what to do when you don't meet sprint deadlines, what are the things that you do you before you start a project to make sure that it is successful.   Answer Question
