I have been working at Valant full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I started at Valant three months ago, and it has so far been an amazing experience. The people here are so invested in both the company, and the product, and most importantly, the customers, that it is inspirational every day.

It is also an honor to be working for a company who's product is designed to help Doctors achieve their goals of improving the lives of their patients, and knowing that we are part of making a positive difference.

In addition, our customers are very passionate about our software (and demanding in a good way) - showing that what we do really matters to them and their clients.

The size of the company is large enough to be organized, and small enough to know everybody.

Lastly, the downtown location is really great, creates a lively environment both within and outside the company's doors.

    Cons

It has been quite a year in 2019, as the company has undergone some significant changes, with new ownership, and with a return to the core of what the product is and who it is for. This has meant some significant changes. In addition, there are significant growth goals moving forward, driving yet more change. Valant is not a place for people who are change resistant and want to do the same thing everyday.

    Advice to Management

Being in management, I just want to remind myself to keep learning from the great team around me, and most of all, to listen to our customers first and foremost.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5+ months. I interviewed at Valant (Seattle, WA (US)) in June 2018.

    Interview

Extremely slow- Application was submitted in March and reviewed in June/July. Two phone interview, two in-person interviews, and 3 months later, still have not heard a response. In between the interviews, I had received multiple emails that they would be getting back to me, but they still haven't. Please let the candidate know what is going on and what the conclusion is rather than have them assume.
