I have been working at University of Stirling part-time
Decent pay, flexible shifts, possibility to work overtime, chill working environment and really nice workmates.
Quite a lot of people who work there all year round complain about the way things are run so that can create a bit of a negative atmosphere.
Advice to Management
Listen to the employees when they say something is not a practical way to solve an issue or geta job done.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at University of Stirling (Stirling, Scotland (UK)) in February-2012.
Very relaxed, casual and somewhat informal. The staff were very friendly and it did not feel like an intimidating environment. The interview lasted no more than around 20 minutes. I enjoyed the interview experience, and felt that it tested some of my knowledge of Higher Education but also the extracurricular activities that I undertook.
