I have been working at University of Bristol full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Holidays, HR systems, once you're in there is lots of opportunity (provided you've made a good reputation for yourself).

    Cons

Some terrible managers and people in positions of power that shouldn't be there. It's also hard to move up from grades F-H as there are not very many G's & H's (so progression is hard, despite the opportunities).

    Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at University of Bristol.

    Interview

In the actual interview I had to deliver a short presentation on a relevant topic, then answer about 10 questions from a panel of 3 people, and also complete a short e-tray exercise.
