    I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TransferWise (Tallinn (Estonia)) in March-2016.


    CV > Test > Meet 1 HR + 1 future colleague > Hangout with team leader > Background check
    During all these steps interactions were 100% friendly.
    Delays between steps can be loooooong, but you need to resist writing them, they hire so many people, it's hard for them to have enough time.

    tip for customer support applicants in Europe :

    1) Be yourself from start. They want to see the real you. If they see and like > next step. If they don't see > out. If they see and don't like > out. No need to try hide it, they want to make sure you'll blend in the company culture. You're doing yourself a favor
    2) Honesty. As part of feedback culture. Self awareness allows you to progress and they don't want you to feel stuck in your job. Again, do yourself a favor.
    3) English. As we mostly communicate in English, can't afford limited EN proficiency. Think about yourself taking a phone call from a US customers ? A respectable senior British citizen ? Worst, an Irish !
    4) Whatever cool you can do on the side is valued. Even when it is nerdy. Especially when it's nerdy :D

    Recrutements at TransferWise are usually not made in an emergency, which means they can afford turning down applications if they feel not one was there yet !
