Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

Approach to industry is innovative and unique, which leads to many new exciting opportunities.

    Cons

    Rapid growth means that the small team is juggling many complex problems and deadlines at once, which sometimes make prioritizing projects challenging.

      I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Thrive Career Wellness Platform (Canada) in Jan 2023

      Interview

      Interview took about 4 weeks including initial HR round, then behavior round with HR & VP of Engineering, then I was given some behavior questions to fill in form and then I had a technical round which having one simple algorithm related question and finally after completing all successfully I was scheduled for a Team meeting interview where they asked about my background and skill related general question but at last I didn't hear back for 1 week and then I follow up and got to know they are not moving with me. I also asked for a feedback which can be helpful for me to improve but didn't heard back anything.

      Technical Round was included a very simple algorithmic question. It was fairly strait forward no live coding
