I have been working at TEEMA Solutions Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

TEEMA is home to some of the best client and talent managers in the industry. The business model is brilliant and provides the members with the autonomy to run their desk and business however they want to. The ability to work remote is awesome. The partners in the organization are very supportive, but they do not interfere with the way you do business or how you best get your work done, the onus is on you to drive your success, there is no micromanagement here. The compensation model is lucrative + the delivery team is incredibly capable.

    Cons

None really - you are responsible for paying for your own operating expenses and tools but TEEMA has partnerships in place for discounted rates. I see it is a positive thing but if you are not self directed or motivated then TEEMA is not the place for you - there is very little coaching on how to get better at what you do and everyone is really busy and focused but many tools and resources available to go out and help yourself.

    Advice to Management

My experience with management at TEEMA although limited has been great. I love how much effort goes in to ensuring that people feel supported and connected in this distributed model. Keep being innovative and doing what you're doing.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at TEEMA Solutions Group (Toronto, ON) in January-2017.

    Interview

Long interview process, many stages, spoke to different people in the group who played different roles. All are very professional, explained in details about the role and the potential of the roles, explain how the systems work and what kind of people can be successful in the company.
