    - Cross functional teams
     - Solid understanding of team work
     - All departments share the same goals, making the job more objective
     - There's always room for improvement, and the CEO is always willing to make things better from the tech and people point of view.

    - It's a young company, so process still being implemented as we learn
     - Roadmap doesn't always reflect what the team is working on, but eventually this will get fixed once we increase both the product and engineering team's capacity.

    Advice to Management

Sometimes, the ones that are supposed to have more soft skills are the ones that are lacking on, and needs more work developing it... let's keep an eye on that!

Let's keep being a company that has its roots in people growth and development, and trust!

    Easy Interview

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Statflo (Toronto, ON) in July-2017.

In my case, there wasn't really a job description beforehand. I had several conversations with Kevin and Sam through email and phone and I've interviewed there once before in 2015. My interview was more of a formality to see if I would vibe with the rest of the team.

I was asked my opinion on a few JavaScript frameworks, and if my experience with React and Redux. I told them I had a little bit of experience with React and none with Redux. However, I have worked with AngularJS, Ember, Sproutcore, KnockoutJS.

I was also told I would be mentoring some junior developers and that I would eventually be in charge of the front-end on their most legacy project.

Long story short, I got the job.

    Interview Questions

    • Say you implemented a feature on a project, but because you didn't have the time you didn't implement it correctly. Do you go back and change it or do you leave it until it's time to touch that feature again?   1 Answer
