Med school at 30 ? Doable ? Is it worth it ? I’m in Canada and I have a bachelor in psychology. I would love to become a psychiatrist but for that I need to go to med school. I’m 30 , is it doable ? Is it worth it ? Can I do it ? I don’t think I’m smart enough … maybe it’s just a dream … opinions ? Suggestions ?

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Spark Lifecare (Ottawa, ON) in Mar 2018
InterviewI first met Brad, the CEO, through email correspondence. Before the interview, I was asked to bring two professional references. When I walked in, I was greeted by all members of staff (not just the front desk) and was kindly offered a tea or water. I wasn't waiting long before I was seated on a large comfortable cushioned chair. There were 4 members of staff sitting around me. I could smell someone's breakfast cooking, and it was a more business casual environment. My resume was digitally projected on a large screen, and then the interview began. I was there for about an hour. There were more serious moments, and some funnier moments. All in all, I felt very relaxed, and it felt more like a large discussion than it did me being put on the spot. When I did speak, I was listened to attentively and never interrupted. I left with Allison escorting me to the door, and we made small talk about our upcoming weekends as I put my coat on. I left feeling like this would be a great place to work, and nonetheless, a great interview and a fantastic institution!Interview
