Technical Account Manager

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

Pros

Social Solutions has now become Bonterra. The leaders at this company are so supportive & help form career paths for wherever you want to go. Credit is given where it's due. A lot of inclusivity with

Cons

Could pay better, but after this big merger & rebranding of Bonterra, I believe it's starting to get better.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Social Solutions (United States) in Apr. 2022

    Interview

This interview process was...neutral. My recruiter was amazing and was so helpful, friendly and relatable. The technical interview with the team was not that great. Typically there is an introduction process where you get to know a little bit about each other but that wasnt the case during this technical interview. I was told that I would be a great fit culture wise but was ultimately not chosen to move on in the interview process. I got a quick response from my recruiter and they offered other positions within the community that he and others that I would be a good fit for.
    Interview

The easiest technical question I got was "What is OOP?"
