    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Pure Octane Talent.

    Interview

Applied for an admin role. I went in for an interview and ended up interviewing with someone other than who I was scheduled to be interviewed with. The guy kept pushing me to say yes to the " Management Trainee" position. When I told him I thought this was an admin role he said I need to start off in Sales. He asked a lot of questions about my Marketing experience and he was impressed with my answers. The entire time he was selling me on the company/ sales job . The next day I went to a Canadian Tire store and I had to shadow a girl who was selling Bamboo pillows. She was really nice so I asked her questions about the job. She seemed to like it. Then I was interviewed at the store by a Manager from Pure Octane. He told me how much the pay was and the structure of how things work and I was not impressed at all. It's all a marketing scheme and Pure Octane is taking advantage of the hundreds of new university grads out there who can't find jobs. There's no way you can pay off your OSAP and live with the money they offered. I was offered the job and was told to come to the office for the "3rd interview" which is all about filling out paper work and meeting the owner Andre. I didn't go and I declined the job offer.
