Technical Account Manager
Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Properly (Canada) (Canada)
InterviewI found Properly to be a place for very smart and ambitious people, and I think there is a lot of potential in terms of growth.
HR is extremely friendly and professional. They follow up in a timely manner and keep you updated as to the next steps of the interview process.
In terms of cons, I did not have a good experience chatting with the Hiring Manager, and that conversation left a bit of an "aftertaste". I also don't think the job description matched the position they were trying to fill in, so that was confusing.
At the end of the process, they offer feedback from the manager, which I requested but never received.
Overall, I think it is worth applying and going through the process, especially if you are applying to any other team rather than Marketing and can connect with the team on a personal level.Interview
