Advice to Management
Take more of the associate insight to take better decisions, bring the on-ice product knowledge back!
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Pro Hockey Life (Mississauga, ON) in September-2013.
There was a two stage interview process. Stage one I was part of a group interview with 5-6 other candidates. The session was led by an assistant manager. Short list candidates were selected and then interviewed 1 on 1 with the stores GM before an offer was made. The questions were relatively open ended and more to see who would talk first in a group setting and tested knowledge of both hockey and retail sales. With any experience playing mildly competitive hockey and strong customer service skills you should be able to atleast land the 1 on 1 interview.
