    Proprietary Trader Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Montreal, QC

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at OSTC (Montreal, QC) in January 2012.

    Interview

Demanding interview. Much of the focus is personality profile. A lot about, your attitude towards risk, and some scenario analysis. They also very clearly lay out the pay structure and manage expectations as to what day trading really will be like and what you will earn as you progress.

    Interview Questions

    • Be ready to answer questions about the market, levels, economics and stuff that is current. Could be some math testing, as well, so be quick.   1 Answer

    Reasons for Declining

Good firm, but pay structure was not for me.
