    Pros

Strong leadership at headquarters with game titles with loyal user base, awesome company culture and benefits, great people in Korea.

    Cons

Disappointing performance in the US, resulting in limited upside, instability, and a lot of politics for those who work in the US offices.

    Advice to Management

Set clear direction for the company and communicate those very clearly to employees.

  • NCSOFT President Songyee Yoon was a panelist in the ROK-US Women’s Empowerment Forum, which focused on entrepreneurship and women being a major factor of economic growth. As a guest of South Korea’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kang Kyung-wha, Minster of Gender Equality and Family, Jin Sun Mee, and Presidential Advisor Ivanka Trump, Dr. Yoon spoke about the need for cultivating talented women employees by offering better work-life balance that allows for women to both raise children and still pursue diverse careers in a wide range of fields. As one of the few companies in the games industry with a female CEO, it was an honor for ours to speak about the importance of cultivating female talent for sustainable economic development.
