  • "Course grading at McGill was a great way to give back to other students."

I worked at McGill University part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The time commitment to grade for a course was not very big, and you are able to make some money at the same time.

    Cons

Grading for a course is a solo task and so there is no collaborative work at all. That is really the only negative though.

    Advice to Management

Make sure to give the course graders at least a week to grade each assignment. As well, don't have assignments graded within several weeks of the exam periods.

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 7+ weeks. I interviewed at McGill University (Paris (France)) in April-2014.

    Interview

Tout le processus d'entretien a duré environ deux mois, mais parfaitement organisé lorsque je vois où je suis rendu(e).
