Massage Addict

I found out a difficult patient I cared for died. This person told me a week after I met them they wished I die. No, I didn’t abuse this person. I tried everything within my job description and outside to help them. The patient was unhappy with the primary caregivers in their family and I the punching bag.

I am kind of surprised that I am not able to get a minute clinic or Walmart health sick appointment for today… the first one I got was 15 miles from my house… this is crazy!! Is it due to short staffing or just the season… never had this happen before!!

I was working Registry at a SNF and I was appalled I was asked to use one of the workers logins to document meals, ADLs etc. isn’t this a breach of security and falsifying reports? Not only that but since we switched assignments mid shift, the three people I headed and changed were not accounted for. I had to start over with 11 completely new patients, only to be refused my own user login. They tried to force me to use someone else’s, which again, is a security breech and falsifi of reports.
