Does anyone have entry level Martech jobs? I am an active learner and I’m hungry for a job that can both teach me but also leverage the skill sets I have. I work primarily with no code tech stacks like airtable, zapier, slack, active campaign, mailchimp, mailerlite, convertkit, and pretty much most no code platforms.

  1. Senior Product Manager Interview

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Mailchimp (United States)

    Interview

There were about 4-5 rounds maybe? But no presentation, mainly just meeting people.
    1. Recruiter screen
    2. Hiring manager screen
    3. Meeting the team (broken into 2-3 different sessions)
    4. Meeting the leadership team

I’ll say that all of the people I met were great for culture fit and I felt that I got along great with everyone. But there were a few things that made this opportunity fall short from other opportunities I was in the process of at the same time:
    - recruiter - He didn’t really do a great job of building a relationship and didn’t really keep me as prepared or informed on what to expect so I found out info as I went along or had to actively ask for it which could have slightly impacted my excitement bc I really do put an importance on first impressions and the hiring team and who a company chooses as their first line.
    - each round of interviews felt like the interviewees didn’t talk or maybe they didn’t prep as much? They all started with “idk what stage you’re at or who you e spoken to already” which made me wonder if they even read my resume or if any of my future peers cared about the role or if there was a communication problem in the team?
    - there wasn’t a clear outline of the role and expectations on immediate projects - it was a bit arbitrary which isn’t always a bad thing but I definitely wanted my next position to have clear purpose and goals

All in all though they did move pretty quickly which I appreciated! I just didn’t feel a personal connection to the role or the team and the process wasn’t as stellar as some of the other companies I’ve interviewed with.
