Friendly staff and relaxed work environment. Management is also lenient and assists you in gaining customer service skills.
Some heavy lifting required. Sometimes customers can be difficult. Can sometimes be stressful when the store is busy.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Lowe's (Edmonton, AB) in February-2016.
Interview was friendly but to the point. Was asked questions but never at all did it feel like I was being interrogated. I did have to wait 10 minutes extra since management was busy, felt like that was quite unprofessional since they said to come in at a specific time for an interview.
