I have been working at Los Angeles Metro full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Mostly autonomous depending where you land.
If you push, you will get.
Education, mostly, paid for, but you have to got after it!!
Free train, bus (also a con, see below)

    Cons

    Nepotism (constant)
    Denigration is a constant
Lower educated people telling you what to do and acting out toward you when you speak the King's English.
Absolutely no safety if you are a bus driver or rail operator (the homeless and degenerates run the system after 8 p.m. and NO ONE does a GD thing about it including law enforcement, because their wings have been shattered by upper "management" and beyond.)
Labyrinth when it comes to finding anything in particular and no one takes on responsibility when you have to get paperwork or etc.

    Advice to Management

Ride the trains and buses after 8 p.m. and then see how you would approach the homeless, drug addled patrons in the immediate and future ridership!!!
Stop relying on federal dollars to runt his system.
You're just a figure head! Literally.
