    Pros

    - Great Career Progression : I joined LTSA about a year ago as the auxiliary employee, and I got promoted to Examiner of Title Trainee. It's a great program to learn how to administer the Land Title Act and other relevant statutes. The job I'm doing everyday is meaningful and have a great impact on land owners, BC real estate market and BC economic. It is not uncommon to see people being promoted and the retirements with 30-40 years of services. It's a great place to build a meaningful long-term career. - Great company culture: Since I joined the organization, I was instantly made to feel at home, the team I work in is full of genuinely great people and I've been supported at every step. You get to work with top thought executives, leaders, mentors, colleagues who are collaborative, knowledgeable, approachable that care about their people/employees/teammates and willing to support whatever they can to make you succeed in your career. Many employees have been here a long time which allows deep integration into the business and the ability to create pathways to success for others. There are lots of opportunities to learn, to develop both personally and professionally. There are monthly Lunch and Learn sessions, Conversation with CEO and quarterly Connect with Vice President of Operations sessions for all staff, The organization commit to Equity, Diversity & Inclusion policy, provides regular communications, listen to and consider new ideas for improvement, your voice will be heard. Whenever I have ideas for improving anything I always get the chance to put it across and if it's valid I've always had the change to implement it. - Great benefits package for regular employee: The organization respects the work-life balance with hybrid work schedule. We are the authority working under the BC provincial agreement. We keep all the best stuff from the public sector benefits: defined benefit pension, generously leave & vacation, full package extended medical plan etc... you name it. But we are not direct government. We really appreciate the innovative working environments that allows more creativity and high-end technologies and equipment. We get the best of both worlds.

    Cons

    - I can't think of anything currently that I think is a negative about the organization in terms of working condition, environment, people and the job itself. - The only thing is definitely a cons of the organization is external marketing and social media management. Most of the people I spoked with don't have a clue what are we doing here at the Land Title Offices, and how great it is to work here. I've never worked in a company that almost every employee is enjoying what they're doing and creating a happy atmosphere like this, but looking at just a couple reviews on Glassdoor for the company for example, its not doing a great job to get the word out there. It has room for improvement, to attract more talented candidates to join.
